Saints of Assisi
Assisi Media was named after the saints of Assisi – St. Francis and St. Clare. These two heroes of the faith have inspired generations of Catholics to live out their faith boldly, and they have inspired us, Assisi Media, to use our God-given gifts and talents to continue spreading the Gospel.

St. Francis of Assisi
One day, while praying in the chapel of San Damiano, St. Francis heard the crucifix speak to him, saying, “Francis, go out and build up my house, for it is nearly falling down.” This, of course, was a reference to the Church, and Christ was challenging him to repair it.
The Catholic Church is in decline in the Western world. Mass attendance is dropping, the culture is becoming more secularized, and there is a need for a renewal. Once again, it is time to rebuild the Church.
Following the path of St. Francis, Assisi Media hopes to rebuild the Church by getting back to the basics. We need to refocus ourselves on Scripture, prayer, and evangelization.

St. Clare of Assisi
One of St. Francis’s earliest followers was St. Clare, who gave up her normal life to follow her mentor’s path to the cross.
As legend goes, one Christmas Eve when St. Clare was too sick to go to Mass, she was able to see the Mass through a vision in her bedroom. Because of this story, Pope Pius XII named her the patron saint of television in 1958.
Our goal at Assisi Media is to create various forms of media that can be used on a variety of devices – computer screens, smart phones, tablets, and even televisions. Our products may not be miraculous visions like St. Clare’s, but we still hope to reflect the beauty of the Eucharist on the world.
